Nana Buluko
The supreme deity of the Fon people from Dahomey, she is the creator of the universe and everything in it. She is said to have given birth to twins, the Sun and the Moon. Worship of this creator goddess spread from Africa to the rest of the world through captured slaves, who were sold throughout the Americas.
